Friday was a day for exploring a farm in the Mid-south area. Pumpkins, flowers, fruits, animals. Tractor rides, giant slides, races. Picnicking, playing, laughing. Bringing home strawberry jam, apple cinnamon donuts and memories. God's handprint is everywhere. And it's glorious!

Good morning! Hope you have a Happy Friday!

I didn’t know how much I needed these posts, too. God has just put on my heart the last couple of days to: rest, submit, let go and let Him, watch and see, trust wholly, shelter. To settle in and remain in Him. It feels like the more worldly cacophony there is, the more I am feeling His gentle hand upon my life, reminding me to that our yoke, that is our connection, is strong. He will not fail me. He will not leave me. I am praying for you to feel His tender love for you as well.

The song, “Reckless Love” is stirring some wonderful ideas and authentic questions that are worth pursuing. I read some thought-provoking articles regarding the use of ‘reckless’ to describe God’s love (I will place links to these in the comments). I love discussions that draw me closer to Him! God is so personally involved in our lives. He is moving, placing, shaking. He is comforting, qualifying, strengthening. He is delivering, endowing, renewing. Who am I to say how God should move in the lives of others? (Job chapters 38 – 41; Romans 9:19-21.) He speaks to this one through a prayer. And to this one through a song. And to this one through the words from a stranger. And to this one through a sign. And to this one through His creation. And to this one through a Bible passage. And to this one through a message, sermon or testimony. I hope that we are united, unmovable in our understanding that He is the author and finisher of our individual faith (Hebrews 12:2). I pray that we are emboldened to speak of His love to all.
