Yes, there's so much to do. Soooo much. And if we didn't insist on walking away from the grind and demands we wouldn't get any breaks, right? Instead of begrudgingly or guiltily taking a super mini faux vacation, how about mentally disengaging from the areas (many which are unnecessary to be honest) that distract our brains from noticing the good and beautiful? Mr ThinMint and myself aren't consistent with filling out those 'to do' lists because we know how unbearably long it would actually be. Make the mental breaks happen, friends. Disengage from the "news," the social media nonsense, the latest podcast. Insert pockets of freedom into your life. We (somewhat) spontaneously decided to visit McKay's Books in Nashville yesterday. We unloaded a lot of books, browsed, and brought home some new treasures. I purchased a one year chronological Bible (in large print thankyouverymuch) as well as 3 Dave Barry books and 7 Far Side books. I'm set! Life is good. God is gooder. So make those unhindered breaks a frequent occurrence. Your mind, body, and spirit will thrive under His calm and peace.

Does that hauntingly beautiful voice not invoke thoughts of sitting on a porch on a balmy evening, sipping a rapidly cooling drink, making you feel miles from where you really are?! *sigh* (Billie Holiday, The Very Thought of You)

I hope y’all do something to make your heart smile this weekend. Try something new, go down memory lane or visit a bygone era:

A prayer for peace 🌻

Hello friends! I’ve missed y’all 🥰 The diminished presence on social media was required as my focus on a situation that flared up needed my full attention. We are healing and I have no doubt this quick turnaround is attributed to the friends here who prayed for us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayerful support and kind words. The step back has also been influential. After posting for over 5 years straight, this little break has refreshed my creativity output. I plan to share about what our family has been through the last year and half, but the LORD instructed me not to do so publicly. Well, at least not on social media. Over the last week I have taken some tiny steps towards publishing some of my writings. And the possibilities are simply exciting! A little daunting, but definitely exhilarative and engrossing! Will it finally happen in six months or a year? I don’t know. I am fully trusting the One Who loves me best. Though I want to wholly concentrate this summer on producing a book, I will return to posting in some capacity. I hope you’re willing to keep hanging out in this Little Corner of Internet World. And if you think of it and don’t mind, please pray me through this great task of getting my mere thoughts out there from this Little Corner of Internet World. Let’s see what the LORD will do, shall we?! 😃 Love, prayers, and blessings to each of you.

The Ask: What if one million Americans dedicated one hour a week to praying for our country and our people? The Invitation: Will you join with at least 10 people to meet each week for one hour to pray for America? The Opportunity: As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, this is an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the principles that gave birth to this land of liberty. As George Washington famously said in his Farewell Address, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.” https://www.whitehouse.gov/america250/america-prays/

I am super excited (we're talking Biblical dancing with tambourines excited!) for tomorrow's rededication!! A, "National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving" is needed. To learn more about the gathering, click here for the official website. I highly, highly recommend watching David Clements's latest video, The Two Conventions: Importance of Thrones, Tabernacles, and Altars. Regardless of how a Believer feels about Trump, the man needs our prayers. Scroll to about the 12:15 mark in Clements's video. Watch for about 3 minutes. Absolute chills in how close the Enemy is to Trump. The Enemy is afraid, friends. Can you feel God's presence? His movement over this land? Are you praying? Are you praising? Be excited!!

God's blessings upon all His beloved Nurturers. You are seen, heard, and deeply loved.

Friends - I must step away from Telegram to focus on where I am needed most at this moment: with my family. If you are a prayer warrior, I need prayer partners as I deal with a family emergency. I must also get through the super emotional high school graduation of the twins before I can return. * On the 15th and 30th of the month, please consider setting aside time to just praise the LORD, your God. He is so worthy. Are you struggling with finding something to praise Him about? Then praise Him for the beautiful miracle that will unfold before you. Praise is not just for what was. Praise is also for what will be. Bless each and every one of you!

God I'm Just Grateful For You!

🕊 And we ought to praise Him that we fully live and wholly receive when we gratefully abide in Him.

Following verses are from the ESV translation. “He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” Psalm 107:20 “Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” Proverbs 3:7-8 “My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:20-23 “This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.” Psalm 119:50 “The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.” Psalm 41:3 “There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” Proverbs 12:18 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12 “Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:23-24 “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” 1 John 5:14 “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
