To communicate with the ESP8266 module, microcontroller needs to use set of AT commands. Microcontroller communicates with ESP8266-01 module using UART having specified Baud rate.

ESP8266 comes with capabilities of 👉 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n, supporting WPA/WPA2) 👉 general-purpose input/output (16 GPIO) 👉 Inter-Integrated Circuit (I²C) serial communication protocol 👉 analog-to-digital conversion (10-bit ADC) 👉 Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) serial communication protocol 👉 I²S (Inter-IC Sound) interfaces with DMA(Direct Memory Access) (sharing pins with GPIO) 👉 UART (on dedicated pins, plus a transmit-only UART can be enabled on GPIO2) 👉 pulse-width modulation (PWM).

ESP8266 is Wi-Fi enabled system on chip (SoC) module developed by Espressif system. It is mostly used for development of IoT (Internet of Things) embedded applications.

Was just checking to introduce some WiFi module which can support IoT and got ESP8266 as quite interesting..

What all u have to write for this program.. For this project, you’ll need to set the min and max number that your dice can produce. For the average die, that means a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6.  You’ll also want a function that randomly grabs a number within that range and prints it. Concepts to keep in mind: Random Integer Print While Loops

Like the title suggests, this project involves writing a program that simulates rolling dice.  When the program runs, it will randomly choose a number between 1 and 6.  The program will print what that number is.  It should then ask you if you’d like to roll again.
