🐈‍⬛ July overview & feels:

Is it just me or did July go by SO fast? I fell back a bit these last 2 months, I'm not sure if the hot weather, executive dysfunction or what that has made me feel SO overwhelmed, but I am working my way out of this slump little by little 🐈‍⬛ Recently I have switched schedules to mirror Tox's work and while I was really productive at night a few years ago, I much prefer waking up in the morning, not at 3-4pm (maybe that's what's been making me so....blergh?) I just know that the constant pressure for perfection in every step of the way of my work has just been debilitating. Sketches take triple the amount of time to complete and it's triggering in a way lmao. Something something imposter syndrome? Grab a bingo, looks like I am naming a bunch of mental words - not as an excuse, but a bit of an explanation of what's been going on in my mind as of late (tip of the iceberg, but alas).

🐱 Work update & current plan:

This week I will be continuing to sketch the last 5 commissions on my 'working on' tab on trello, and move on to line everything in the first 2 weeks of August. Afterwards I will be working on the ych slots I took recently* + Snap and Chill Pinup YCHs + resketch the 'Hey There' YCH. (*a new card has been added on my trello where people can keep track of updates for these. I don't really add them to my trello as they're done fairly quickly, but since people have been asking about them - no harm done in just having that extra card staying there.) Gonna also start posting every little sketch I do + the traditional ones I take here n there, there's a lot of fun ones there I'd rly like to share. I will also be doing more openings in the meantime for rent/bills etc, but also to send off some pending refunds, so keep an eye out for that.

With that said, June was...a very slow month for me. I'm sure there are others that struggle with keeping their environment clean/tidy, and when it's not, it negatively impacts them on most aspects. It took me an entire day to finally clean 1-2 months worth of dust and mess after ""procrastinating"" for 2 weeks. It feels like such a BS excuse but executive dysfunction is truly debilitating, I think the hardest part is like...putting stuff away and not necessarily cleaning. I personally love cleaning the bathroom, what is y'alls fav/least fav room to clean?

I'm really sorry about the lack of updates, hoping to get some WIPs out *very* soon. Thank you all 🐾
