Natural Gas Update
U.S. natural gas futures dropped around 17.75% to $3.54 per MMBtu while prices on MCX is also declined around 10% due to forecasts of milder weather, expected this week to reduce heating demand. While some southern areas remain cold, broader temperatures are predicted to exceed seasonal norms. Additionally, flows to liquefied natural gas export plants increased, aided by the anticipated restart of a liquefaction train at Freeport LNG in Texas.
