A- Take- Tarek for reservoir; Rabia for drilling and Buon Guo for Production. Yes for production you have to follow different books topic wise as there is no single book that covers whole topic. Other book that are shared are for you to gain more and more confidence by pracising more andmore numericals and study deep theory from other books. For starting you follow these three subjects first. These three subjects cover 60% of GATE technical subjects. Best of luck.

Q-Provide Complete syllabus with recommended books? A-All books are shared here I will forward the list again. Q-Is it necessary to watch NPTEL VIDEOS? A- NO, if you understand concepts via book then I suggest do not distract yourself by other videos online. It will save a lot of ur time. And in petroleum Engineering I dont remember NPTEL videos for major subjects. Q-Which test series is best? A- We cannot say about other test series and donot take responsibility of the content they provide. But the questions that we ask in our test series are from the syllabus based on the previous year gate pattern in petroleum Eng. Q- Should I join M.Tech in other stream as petroleum market is not good? Which stream to choose.? A- Choose your stream based on your interest rather market demand. Oil and gas market is always changing, now in corona it has affected the business also. Although demand part is also important but if you dont have the interest at the first place how will you cope up the higher studies with that subject. If u have done btech in Petroleum u can choose M.Tech stream tht is connected to Petroleum studies as you will have some knowledge of the subject. Like-Gelogy, Geophyssics, Earth science etc. Q- I m lacking in Math . How tobuild confidence? A- Confidence can only be build by practise. Give more hour to math. Try to solve simplification problems in general aptitude.And approach math topics via GATE Syllabus. Follow made easy book. Q-Lots of books confusing me ....Help? A- Right way to prepare for GATE is to prepare syllabus wise. BASIC essential books for Drilling,reservoi and production that cover 60% of technical are- Rabia , Tarek Ahmed and Buon GUo. In Drilling and reservoir you have limited books only. Yes can ask book in Production- Prdouction cannot be completed via a single book, but still Buon Guo book has every chapter of Gate in very short. And for prduction you have to follow different books to build confidence. Book lists are shared in channel. Q-I m good in Theory but lack confidence in Numerical Should I join Coching? A- GATE exam is concept based exam. Even if u go for coaching you have to give time for self studies. Coaching study alone cannot get you a good rank. But when you finish a book by yourself by solving numericals and all you gains confidence, that is very important. If you know what to study, how to study and from where to study in Petroleum GATE syllbus, you need not to join coachings. Q-Give brief idea about spotting fluids? A- Spotting fluids are samll volume(spot vol) of the chemical placed in the well primarily to free the stucked pipe. Pipe sticking can be due to mechanical, key seat formation or due to differential Pr. Spotting fluid attacks mud cake and reduces the stuck area and allow the stuck pipe to move up when pulled up. Q- Can you topic wise provide books for Production? A- Books list is shared in channel. Wll forward again. Q-What are bingam plastic and power law fluid.? A- These two are non newtonian fluids one follows exponential shear strain relation and other follow a Yield stres shear strain relation.You can find more about it in drilling eng books Q-Two hours of math and Two hours of technical enough for a day to prepare for GATE. A-It depend son your Prep level till now and secondly the quality of your 2 hr time. But usually you should give atleast 6 hour time. I willl share atime table soon tht my help you. Q-Gate 2020 madeeasy engg mathematics is not available, will it be suitable to buy madeeasy 2018 engg mathematics ? A- Yes save your time, if you find 2018 made easy buy it. It wont make much difference if you study from old one. Main theory and problems will be same. They might have included only two-three numerical in each chapter, thats it.
