| 2 | Remember I said during the stream that if we oughta reverse downside, it will be much clearer on silver? I outlined that silver took out previous week high and also previous day high and then started to consolidate. We know that after consolidation, price can either expand (in our case a move higher), or reverse. Reversal seemed more logic since reversal happens after liquidity is swept...and silver just went above PWH and PDH. I also outlined that if we were gonna reverse, we should inverse the M5 bisi at 2:50. Just like in the picture attached (blue arrow). Luckily I took the short on another account (another prop firm) and my mind is a bit more at ease. I am still pissed off for breaching my account because I didn't pay attention to news trading rules, but at least now I know an extra thing to pay more attention to next time. | 102 |
| 3 | Started the day with 2 price levels in mind: 1. London high buyside. 2. London low sellside. At the beginning of the stream I said "we'll sweep one during the 10am news and then run for the other". 10am news swept London high and ran for London low. But I couldn't engage in the short because my funded acct is restricted to trade 5 min before and 5min after news (or so I thought...). 10:08 I get confirmation for long after London low was swept. I was planning to go long till 50% of news range. 1 min after opening the trade my acct was breached due to trading during high impact news...Remember I said I was not allowed to trade 5min after news? And I opened the trade 8 min after? Apparently, the real rule is 10 min after news, not 5...so I got breached. My bad for not reading rules page of my acct type. Eventually my SL would have been hit, but my acct would still be live. I am the first trader in the industry to breach their account with a +10.6$ profit 😕 | 102 |
