Magnetite ◇ Aka – Black ore - due to Blackish colour. ◇ Second best ore next to haemetite with metallic content varying from 60 to 70 percent. ◇ Magnetite ores have magnetic quality as a result of which they are known as Magnetite ores. Limonite ◇ Inferior ores, yellowish in colour – contain 40 to 60% iron metal.
