አድስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለመማር ላመለከታችሁ የድህረ ምረቃ ተማሪዎች: የብዙዎቻችሁ መረጃ ከሬጅስትራል ወደ ኮሌጅ እና ት/ት ክፍል ተልኮ የDpt' መግቢያ ፈተና ተፈትናችሁ Acceptance Letter የተቀበላችሁ አላችሁ በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ Dpt' ያልጠራችሁ እና ፈተና ያልተፈተናችሁ እንዳላችሁ በመልዕክት መቀበያ ብዙ ጥያቄ እየጠየቃችሁ ነው። ከእናንተ የሚጠበቀው ከትምህርት ክፍል የቻላችሁ በአካል ካልሆነ ደግሞ በስልክ Dpt'ን መጠየቅ። Dpt' የሚፈለገው ተማሪ ካልሞላ ላያስተምሩ ይችላሉ ወይንም Dpt' ፈተና በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች ላይፈትኑ ስለሚችሉ ትክክለኛውን ነገር መጠየቅ አለባችሁ። ፈተና ተፈትናችሁ በDpt' Accept የተደረጋችሁ ደግሞ በየኮሌጆቻችሁ ሬጅስትራል በመሄድ Acceptance Letter መውሰድ ትችላላች። Acceptance Letter ላይ ID ይሰጣችኋል። Password ደግሞ ከኮሌጅ ሬጅስትራል መውሰድ /ምናልባት በEmail ከላኩላችሁም/ ቼክ ማድረግ ትችላላችሁ። የሚሰጣችሁ Username እና Password የሚጠቅመው ለምዝገባ፣ Personal Information ለመሙላት፣ Grade Report ለማየት፣Staff Assesment ለመሙላት፣ Grade ከተበላሸ ለማስቀየር፣Scholarship ለመፈለግ ሌሎችም ጥቅሞች አሉት! መልካም የትምህርት ጊዜ ይሁንላችሁ!! @NGATprep1

#AAU Registration Guideline for First-Year Graduate Students (Regular and Extension) Both regular and extension first-year students should complete their registration process as steps indicated below Step 1. Check your admission status on the portal and get your ID. No. Step 2. Begin by logging into the https://portal.aau.edu.et with your Username (ID No.) and password. Step 3. Click on Registration ------> Check your courses, Tuition fees, and registration fee (300 Birr + tuition fees for self-sponsored regular and extension students). Step 4. Complete your Registration fee and Tuition fee (Self-sponsored regular and extension students) using Tele Birr. Step 5. Update your profile (Birth Date, email address, Phone No., Photograph…)! and Click Here >>> Step 6. Select Courses ------> Click on Submit. You will receive a confirmation notice immediately. Step 7. Click on Logout to close the application.Once you have completed your registration, you should contact your college registrar's office. @NGATprep1

Frequently Asked Questions about AAU Dept registration process for Masters and PhD programs 1. Can I apply for more than one department? - Yes you can! But for every department you apply for you will be required to pay the 500 birr payment and if dept entrance exam for the programs clash on the same day you may miss out on one. You can even be accepted to multiple programs if you pass their entrance exams! 2. Can I apply for the same department twice one as regular and one as extension? - No this is not advised. For the same dept don't apply both regular and extension. Pay for only one of them. The entrance exam for regular and extension is given on the same day so you will just lose your money and they will reject either your regular or extension application. 3. Do I need to pay my cost sharing to join a Masters program at AAU? - It is mandatory to settle your cost sharing payment if you learnt your Bachelor degree at a government university in Ethiopia. You can pay it by going to the nearest ገቢዎች office. 4. Does AAU have weekend program? - AAU doesn't have weekend only classes. They have extension program. Extension program means classes will be sometimes weekday night and sometimes weekend. 5. What is student copy and what is original transcript? - Official transcript is document with all your grades for all the courses you took when learning your Bachelors degree from 1st semster until the end  and it is sent from the university where you learnt BA/BSc to the one where you want to learn by postal address or by email. It has the university official stamp. Student copy is the same document but it has a different stamp it has student copy stamp. It is given to the student at his/her request. AAU requests you to upload your student copy and send your official transcript to make sure that the results in both documents are matching. 6. How can I send my official transcript to AAU? - Go to the university registrar where you learnt your Bachelors degree and request them to send your official transcript to AAU Main Registrar PO Box 1176 7. How much time will I get to send my official transcript? - You can send your official transcript even after the department entrance exam. AAU will give you time to process it. However if your university is far away it is advisable to start the process now to avoid delays later on. 8. I passed the AAU GAT last year or I passed the NGAT given by MoE this year. Can I register for AAU? - No, AAU only accepts those who took the AAU GAT given this year. 9. Can I register for AAU GAT now? - No, registration for AAU GAT is closed and is unlikely to be opened again for this year 10. I passed the AAU GAT given this year. What is the next step? - After registration period is over, you will be notified about dept exam by email, call, or text. It will also be posted on dept notice board. The online registration and in person document submission date extended up to October 11, 2024 After completing online registration, remember to submit your documents to Addis Ababa University Main Registrar office no. 203 located in 6 Kilo. Submit the following: Photocopy of - Student copy - Tempo/ original degree - Cost sharing document (if you learnt at government university) - Sponsorship letter (if you are not self sponsored or female/disability sponsored) • Print out of your GAT result certificate • Your Online application number (the one that begins with "PG") You do not necessarily need to be present to submit your documents to AAU Main Registrar.
