We're glad to announce another new addition to our ROM. With codes taken originally from risingOS, we were able to implement the PIF JSON picker alongside our PIF apk.
This means you can now choose between using a JSON file to update the built in Play Integrity fix rather than wait for an APK update, or turn both off and stick with Play integrity fix module.
This brings a much easier way for all users than just waiting for the team. Once you disable the JSON picker, you'll be allowed to enable the PIF app instead or disable both if you choose to do so.

Today, @.masqufel from our Discord found the fix for the bootloop issue affecting the Pixel devices (and other devices)!
Our Pixel devices will now be able to rollout official updates once again.
In case you're a builder and the same happens to your device, just cherry-pick https://github.com/Evolution-X-Devices/device_google_bonito/commit/08d679bb57f580bc575f31b8db09029138933fd8 or adapt the change to your tree.

January 2025 security patches have been merged for Evolution X 9.9 (A14)
Builders/Maintainers who can't boot A15 yet may release with A14 for now.
We will try to support both A14 and A15 simultaneously as long as LineageOS does.

Evolution X 10.x/15/vic launch has started and will roll out to more devices by next week.
We will have to bring in customization from A14 first.

Android 14 QPR3 June security patches will start to roll out to officially supported devices starting today. Expect a few issues if any but everything should work the same as before.

For the final time, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to every individual that we have previously banned due to unnecessary drama, impatience when providing support, ego or just plain negligence, especially towards several groups of people, such as the Indian community, newbies in the custom ROM world and members of other custom ROM teams. I'm sorry for my previous actions and behavior.
No one deserves any negative treatment, especially discrimination or racism. I would like to end any remaining quarrels with all involved in the Android community as we continue to pursue a better Evolution X for the future.
I will strive to be a completely different person from the previous encounters you had with me and will take into account all my interactions and mistakes. I hope this helps everyone in the custom ROM community move on from any remaining negative emotions.

Moving forward, we will be closing all of our telegram groups and continue our discussions in our Discord server.
We will no longer be creating groups for newer devices. You may completely disregard attempts of impersonation or harassment.

I'm sad to announce that due to continuous harassment for months by @p0c0f5user (Mayank Shankar Gupta; TG ID 6453864078) and his friends in @poco_f5_india, I have decided to quit the Evolution X team and leave Android development permanently.
Mayank has created several channels doxxing my identity and personal photos, including my family, friends and Persons with Disability ID, and even made sticker packs and GIFs of my face in deepfakes. All of this stemmed from me banning him and his friends for constantly shitposting in my Evo X F5 group and not catering to his demands to apologize to indians and unbanning his friends.

As all my personal details are of public knowledge, we will seek the proper assistance of authorities regarding his harassment, defamation and sharing of personal information without my consent.
I will leave the community to Anierin, Akito and the rest of the Evolution X team. Thank you for 5 years, and I'm sorry for all the troubles and annoying dramas and whatever other incidents that has happened. But no one ever deserves to experience anything like this and I would hope everyone would help reach the authorities regarding his actions.

Due to really worsening weather due to a typhoon, I'll have to postpone my builds for POCO F5, K20 Pro, Mi 11 and Mi A1. I can only hope for everyone's understanding in a time like this. We currently don't have electricity and are only relying on mobile data and power banks.
