🇨🇳⚡️ — China has released the first footage of a YJ-20 hypersonic anti-ship ballistic missile being launched from a Type 052D guided-missile destroyer. ➡️ The Type 052D is now the second class of PLAN destroyer, after the Type 055, to field the YJ-20. ➡️ The missile is estimated to have a range of 1,000–1,500 km, cruise at over Mach 6, and reach terminal speeds of up to Mach 10, making it a potential threat to large surface combatants such as U.S. aircraft carriers.

They are going to try and charge a fee for the Bab El Mandeb Strait. Chinese vessels will be exempt however. Russian vessels will also probably be exempt.
