Dear Sir / Madam, It is my pleasure to inform you that the Indian Association of Structural Engineers (IAStructE) is organizing an Online Workshop on “Design and Construction of Short and Medium Span Concrete Bridges”, starting from 23rd July 2022, which will be concluded on 27th August 2022. The lectures will be organized on Saturday between 15:00 Hrs to 18:00 Hrs (IST). Mr. Sandeep Pattiwar, GC member IAStructE is the Course Coordinator of the Workshop. The course will provide insight into the futuristic approach of alternative material to concrete, the latest design considerations, detailing aspects to be considered, construction and erection techniques, and workmanship and rectification measures during construction. Case Studies will be covered to avoid near-misses and failures during construction and design. The speakers for this course are all experts in the field and eminent members of the industry, academia, and R&D who are involved in research and actual design & application. The course participation fee shall be Rs. 5,000/- for IAStructE members; Rs. 7,500/- for non-members (10% discount will be given to Young Engineers up to 35 years of age for the category IAStructE members/Non Members) and Rs 1,000/- for IAStructE Student members and Rs 2000/- for other Students. The GST @ 18% will be applicable to the Registration fee. The registration fee for Foreign nationals shall be USD 118 or INR 7,500/- + 18% GST (Foreign nationals will get a 20% discount if they are members of MoU Associations). Every five registration from one organization will entail one free registration from the same organization.
