Hi all, even though I'm taking a break from the channel, I do hope to bring it back in the near future. I'm hoping to find some volunteers that can help me do this though. I have one fur so far helping me and would like to find a few more volunteers. There may be over 50 weeks more before you can be back with us for the next event, but not to worry, there's at least 6 other conventions and upwards of 250 meets between now and then, so we're releasing the Further South Bingo card. Get out there and spot furries, being furries, grab some photos, slot them into place, and fill out as much of the sheet as you can. We'll see who has the best score come next March.

I appreciate those who you have DMed me for support. Its been a long journey of seven years. I'm happy to be the one to share updates with the fandom and cover in detail how the fandom has been starting in 2019 up to now. While some may find this insane (and it probably is) In order to stay updated with furry con news, I had push notifications on for nearly all of the furry conventions in the world since this channel was expanded to cover furry con news. The notifications would be from multiple platforms (Telegram and Twitter before it was X. BlueSky.) plus reaching out to convention staff which was extremely important during the times during the lockdowns when nearly everything was virtual. I don't want to say this is the end of the channel cause too many rely on it but in all honesty, Grovel needs a vacation and I hope you all understand. Hi everyone, after many years of posting updates daily and the expansion to multiple channels, its become extremely difficult following everything solo and pushing updates daily. I've been looking for volunteers to help with the channel and that has been difficult. At this point, I have to pull back as its too much for one fur to monitor the fandom daily. I know a lot of you follow this channel for updates and the channel wont be going anywhere but until I can get some help, postings will be little to none for the foreseeable future.

First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who brought up their concerns involving Foxen Coffee and the #TFF2026 Dealer's Den. We looked into the matter, and the dealer attending TFF was a reseller of Foxen Coffee, not the Foxen Coffee main business. This reseller has been a part of Texas Furry Fiesta supplying products for several years, and does not participate in social media.  They were unaware of the ongoing issues regarding AI and Foxen Coffee. Because of that ongoing relationship, this year's switch to using AI-generated images on their packaging simply flew past us during the vetting stage. We should have caught that change sooner, and we apologize for the oversight. Texas Furry Fiesta Dealers Den strictly prohibits AI-generated content. Therefore, this vendor’s participation in #TFF2026 is terminated. The reseller stated that they purchased the beans at wholesale prices from Foxen, and then donated the resulting profits to two rescues. In view of that, Texas Furry Fiesta has decided to donate $1,000 each to Pawsitive Beginnings and Fox Tales Florida to ensure that the sanctuaries will not suffer from this decision. WPAFW staff are kicking off planning for 2026, and we wanted to share a very important announcement from Manick! -- Since 2013 when I started out in Registration to 2018 when I was honored to succeed Blithe as Chair(cat), WPAFW has seen impressive growth. Through all difficulties we’ve encountered, we’ve shown enormous strength. Whether bringing the community together or providing significant support for our local charities, our event has become a major foundation of our local community. The event, started in Swift’s own backyard, continues to evolve and change and grow. The future is one of enormous possibility. I could not be prouder of the work done by the entire staff of WPAFW. I could not be prouder to be entrusted with such a leadership role and to have truly helped usher that growth in. After many years as Chair, I am passing the proverbial torch, as Swift originally put it, to Rel! From a Chaircat to a Chairdog, we revel in housepet leadership!
