3️⃣ Things that will decide the Market today 📈
1) SGX NIFTY signals a negative start for the Indian Stock Market
- Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 38 points lower at 17,820 signalling that the Indian Stock Market is headed for a negative start.
2) US Market declines on recession fears and tech-earnings ahead
- Major indices in the US Stock Market declined sharply on Tuesday, on the back of recession fears and tech-earnings kicking off. The Dow Jones declined by more than 1% while tech-led index NASDAQ tanked 1.72%. However, U.S. stock futures rose Tuesday evening as Big Tech earnings began to roll out, led by Alphabet and Microsoft.
3) Oil dips 2%
- Oil dropped 2% to its lowest this month on Tuesday after two sessions of gains, as deepening concerns of an economic slowdown and a stronger dollar outweighed hopes of higher Chinese demand.
