🔴 GIFT NIFTY traded 25 points lower at 22,494 signalling that the Indian stock market is headed for a negative start today.
🔴 The S&P 500 closed slightly lower after a choppy day as investors awaited economic data and Fed Chair Powell's testimony. Apple faced decline due to a $2-billion EU antitrust fine for App Store practices. Chip stocks rallied, buoying the S&P 500 to intraday records, driven by optimism in AI demand despite cautious sentiment. S&P ended at 0.12%, Dow Jones at 0.25% and Nasdaq at 0.41%.
🔴 India VIX declined by 0.47% to the levels of 14.92, signalling lowering volatility in the market.
