Mehrere Minuten lang hat ein Mann eine Drohne mit einer Russland-Flagge über den Berliner Reichstag fliegen lassen. Das Ereignis wirft ein schlechtes Licht auf die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen im Umfeld des Reichstags. Denn eigentlich gilt rund um das Gebäude eine Flugverbotszone für Drohnen mit einem Radius von 5,6 Kilometern.
Wie die Bundestags-Pressestelle am Samstag, 18. Mai 2024, bestätigte, ereignete sich der Vorfall bereits am 9. Mai. Die Aufnahmen des Drohnenflugs haben aber erst eine Woche später breite Aufmerksamkeit erfahren. Wie der Tagesspiegel herausgefunden hat, handelt es sich bei dem Drohnenführer um einen 41-jährigen Ukrainer.
Die Polizei konnte die Personalien des Mannes feststellen. Die Drohne, drei Flaggen und vier Georgs-Bänder wurden beschlagnahmt.
