Just a heads up for anyone else who wasn't aware, this January they're changing Medicaid so that you must work at least 80 hours a month, make the equivalent of 80 hours of federal minimum wage ($580) every month, or be considered "medically frail", in order to qualify. This change mirrors what they did to SNAP benefits last year, so if you weren't able to qualify for that then, then you likely won't qualify for Medicaid next year. I was completely unaware of this change until my therapist brought it up today, so I just want to make sure others aren't blindsided by this if at all avoidable.
