#BiharCurrentAffairs बिहार के 9 जिलों में भूजल यूरेनियम से दूषित 9 अक्टूबर 2022 को जारी केंद्रीय भूजल बोर्ड (CGWB) की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार बिहार के नौ जिलों में भूजल में यूरेनियम की मात्रा निर्धारित सीमा से अधिक पाई गई है. जिन जिलों में यूरेनियम 30 पीपीबी से अधिक पाया गया उनमें सारण, भभुआ, खगड़िया, मधेपुरा, नवादा, शेखपुरा, पूर्णिया, किशनगंज और बेगूसराय शामिल हैं। यूरेनियम की निर्धारित मात्रा से अधिक शरीर में जाने से किडनी की बीमारी हो सकती है। वहीं, यूरेनियम के पानी के सेवन से थायराइड कैंसर, ब्लड कैंसर, बोन मैरो डिप्रेशन और अन्य गंभीर बीमारियां हो सकती हैं। इससे बच्चों को कैंसर होने का भी खतरा रहता है।
