Sentinel is not one dVPN, it is an infrastructure for a network of decentralized apps sharing the same bandwidth that is provided by the public.
Anyone can build a very technical and highly privacy oriented app, or aim for a consumer mobile app that reaches hundreds of thousands of people who may have never heard of crypto like Independent dVPN.
Independent dVPN provides secure access to bandwidth for people all over the world, allowing them to access tools important for their daily occupation such as Linkedin.
Independent dVPN's Windows and Mac app is currently in development.
Each dVPN application built on Sentinel has its own community. You can create yours too.
The Sentinel Shield dVPN is being refactored for a cross platform launch spanning Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.
Sentinel holders who trust MEXC and have used MEXC are requested to deposit P2P into their MEXC accounts to help Sentinel meet the ST criteria requirement. Community members have been doing the same over the past days.
Sentinel has met the market making and spread criteria and only lacks in the area of aggregate user deposits.
Did you know that every-time you host a dVPN node with the new deployer software, your node's specs are posted on-chain for dVPN application creators to use as data for selecting nodes.
Watch the creation of a dVPN node to the creation of an on-chain proof within 30 seconds!
Download the Sentinel Node Deployer on your Windows/Mac/Linux device today!
All community utilities are fully open-source and anyone can contribute to them.

Sentinel has the only open-source decentralized VPN protocol that allows AI agents to connect with a CLI interface. Connect for as low as $0.033/Day!
Anyone can create their own on-chain subscription and offer access to AI agents on their own pricing terms. Checkout plan.sentinel.co (public release soon)
Introducing Sentinel x402: Autonomous, On-Chain Private Internet Access
Sentinel x402 is live at x402.sentinel.co
Autonomous agents are increasingly expected to operate independently: accessing geo-restricted resources, executing workflows across jurisdictions, and protecting the confidentiality of their activity. Yet the infrastructure they rely on for network privacy remains fundamentally human-centric. Traditional VPN services assume someone is present to create an account, provide payment details, accept terms of service, and manually configure a client.
An autonomous agent can do none of those things.
As a result, the systems we ask to operate without supervision are often unable to secure their own access to the internet.
Sentinel x402 solves this problem. Built around the HTTP 402 (Payment Required) standard, it enables agents to purchase private internet access programmatically using on-chain payments. An agent submits a single request, authorizes a stablecoin transfer, and receives a working subscription to the Sentinel decentralized VPN network without accounts, API keys, subscriptions, or human intervention.
Because of Sentinel's architecture structure, dVPN nodes can be connected to directly from a CLI interface. Sentinel has the first on-chain DHT where the processes of node query and authentication can all be done by just having access to a chain RPC.
Your AI Agent can buy access to hundreds of nodes for as low as $0.033 per day!

An in-depth technical comparison of Sentinel's on-chain DHT structure with other leading P2P networks clearly showing Sentinel's unique service proposition in relying only on publicly hosted RPCs for access to its DHT.
Sentinel is the most resilient P2P network.
Sentinel's x402 integration allows AI agents to autonomously connect and pay with USDC on Base (soon Solana) without requiring any P2P on Sentinel's chain for gas payments.
AI agents can now bypass geo-restrictions to use De-Fi apps like Hyperliquid and Ce-Fi like Binance
dVPN node hosts can use the new node deployer software to either deploy a node on their local machine or on the cloud. Managing dVPN nodes from a single console has never been easier.
The new node software also sets the foundation for upcoming on-chain specs reporting
The third step for a dVPN application creator is to integrate any payment rail of their choice to their subscription using the plan manager website. There can be a custom authorization trigger of the app creators choice - whether its a CC payment or free user trigger.
The second step is to build a dVPN app for any platform using Sentinel's open-source frameworks.
There are Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and TV apps already built on Sentinel!
Now with AI tooling building a dVPN application has never been easier!
The website clearly outlines the 3 steps required for anyone to launch their own decentralized VPN. The first step is to use the Plan Manger plan.sentinel.co (in community testing) to purchase nodes and add them to your on-chain subscription which your users will pay for
The Sentinel blockchain is the backend for decentralized VPN applications offering;
1) Access to community hosted servers
2) Compute for dVPN logic
3) Perpetual on-chain DHT with no requirement to manage off-chain masternodes
Centralized VPNs are closed-source and obscure. People want open-source wallets, but they trust their networking card with closed-source VPN applications?
Sentinel has the only open-source framework for anyone to build their own dVPN application
The new Sentinel is here with a website that does justice to the ecosystem Sentinel.co
Independent dVPN built on Sentinel has received interest for a low 6 figure acquisition. That is a business built with 0 marketing expense right in front of your eyes. From 0 users to 700k+ users including APK installations.

Sentinel has the only DePin infrastructure where entrepreneurs can aim to build their own multi-million dollar business with 0 offchain server dependencies. All they require is a chain RPC. Sentinel provides you with the compute for your application logic, access to bandwidth, and the most resilient P2P networking protocol with its on-chain DHT structure.
Only Hyperliquid builder codes have accomplished what Sentinel has in architecture.
Unique user count on Sentinel has reached a new all time high of 100k+ users within 1 week.
Most of this traffic comes from a Web 2 facing VPN with over a million users that has chosen Sentinel
A dVPN application creator can add nodes to their subscription contract and integrate webhooks/APIs to authorize users to be able to connect to the nodes after completing a fiat payment. plan.sentinel.co public launch announcement soon. Sentinel's decentralized AWS.
How do you say independent?
No matter the language, the meaning stays the same.
Independent dVPN gives you access to the internet through independent peer-to-peer nodes across the world, not centralized servers controlled by a single company.
• 500,000+ downloads
• 1-click connect
• Global decentralized infrastructure
Access the internet without restriction.

The Sentinel Network has recorded over 40,000 recurring users so far in May.
The network also reached a new all-time high with over 2.4 million encrypted dVPN sessions during the month, averaging around 2 encrypted sessions per user, per day.
Since the beginning of 2026, the network has now processed more than 10.9 million encrypted sessions across the Sentinel ecosystem.
Decentralized VPN infrastructure continues to scale across independent, multiple applications, and users accessing a more open internet.

Most AI agents today still access the internet through centralized infrastructure.
Shared proxy pools.
Static datacenter IPs.
Corporate VPN accounts.
Cloud provider fingerprints.
That creates obvious problems:
• Shared IP reputation
• Centralized logging
• Geo restrictions
• Rate limiting
• Vendor dependency
• Single points of failure
An autonomous agent that still depends on centralized internet infrastructure is only partially autonomous.
Sentinel is building toward a different model.
AI agents can provision decentralized VPN access programmatically through Sentinel’s peer-to-peer node network using x402 payments settled in USDC on Base.
Two integration paths:
• Fully autonomous agents managing their own P2P, gas, and node selection
• Managed x402 provisioning with zero gas, automatic subscriptions, and one-command connectivity
The agent can:
• Create its own wallet
• Pay for bandwidth directly
• Select nodes by country
• Establish encrypted WireGuard or V2Ray tunnels
• Rotate infrastructure independently
No centralized VPN accounts.
No shared datacenter pools.
No manual provisioning workflows.
The Sentinel Network operates nodes spanning 130+ countries, increasingly positioning decentralized bandwidth as programmable infrastructure for AI systems, applications, and autonomous agents.
That is what infrastructure autonomy starts to look like.
