Rathsberg
Done en plein-air in April, before the leaves unfolded.
Chalk #pastels, 30x40 cm.
Dear all,
I fed my very rudimentary scan stitcher for large formats into Claude and got a user-friendly app out of it. It can stitch scans together with tolerance for rotation, straighten and crop the resulting mosaic, perform color correction, and remove dust from the image. It automatically detects tiny hairs in watercolor paintings and patches them quite well. Then, you can export in many common lossless and lossy formats, including proprietary Adobe Photoshop .psd.
Finally, you can do batch stitching.
Enjoy! -> https://github.com/righeile/artstitch

Irchelpark: Back to February
Painted on location, but about two months after this particular view would be possible. The trees were already green, so I undressed them.

Irchelpark: Red Sign
This was the first one, still done during the picturesque season when foliage didn't conceal the view.

Winds Blow Across the Border
Hermann Castle in Narva and the Ivangorod Fortress across the river. It’s difficult to capture places like these in a way that conveys their architectural scale without turning them into postcards. I believe the cool green grasses on the left helped me achieve that here.

Watching a Lecture by E. V. Bogomolova in Bed
I know you missed him.
