بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

​عَنْ الإِمَامِ جَعْفَرٍ الصَّادِقِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ): «مَنْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَيْرَ قَذَفَ فِي قَلْبِهِ حُبَّ الْحُسَيْنِ (ع) وَحُبَّ زِيَارَتِهِ» In a report, ​Imam Jafar al-Sadeq (as) said: "Whomever Allah desires good for, He instills in his heart the love of Hussain (as) and the love of visiting him."

​Salam Alaykum, dear brothers and sisters, The love of Imam Hussain (as) truly knows no boundaries, it unites our hearts as one family. While our souls long to be in the holy city of Karbala, together we succeeded in bringing the spirit, devotion, and legendary hospitality of Karbala right here to our home in Edmonton on Sunday July 26th, 2026. ​Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who made this event such an incredible success. ​To every Shia Centres, thank you for standing shoulder-to-shoulder in unity and support to make this vision a reality. ​To our amazing volunteers, words cannot fully capture our appreciation for your tireless work. You worked against all odds, pouring your energy and love into every detail. Lastly, to ​everyone who attended the event, thank you for showing up in such vibrant numbers and bringing this gathering to life with your devotion and warmth. ​A deeply special thank you goes to al-Hoda Islamic Society, who so graciously opened their doors and provided the space for us to revive these beautiful traditions. ​As mentioned during the event, al-Hoda is currently undergoing vital renovation and construction efforts to expand and better serve our entire community. Just as they opened their doors to host us, let us open our hearts to support them. Assalamu Alaikum everyone, Imam Mahdi Association of Marjaeya (I.M.A.M.) has launched a survey through their program PSYCHED4U, an initiative to support parents and families in North America to launch a school psychology program. This initiative will create support resources, educational content and partnerships with other organizations. As part of this project, we are collecting data in order to assist where the needs are appropriate. Assalamu Alaikum everyone, 💠 This is a friendly reminder to join us for the Walk of Honor: The Arbe'een Experience TODAY (Sunday, July 26) at Al-Hoda Islamic Society (54131 Range Rd 250). 🕛 The event will commence at 12:15 PM. 🕊️ Together, we will stand united in remembrance of Imam Hussain's (AS) stand for justice, truth, and compassion, while honoring the timeless values of Karbala. 🎒 Please bring: ☀️ Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat 🪭 A portable fan 💧 A reusable water bottle 🌦️ A light rain jacket or umbrella (chance of rain) 🦟 Mosquito repellent 👟 Comfortable walking or closed-toe shoes (ground is slightly uneven) 🚗 Parking is limited. Late arrivals should drop off passengers and park at Albany Mall (about 5 minutes away). Shuttle service will be available. 🕌 Please bring a prayer mat and turbah (Mohr). You may also bring a lawn chair. 🙋 Please follow volunteer directions. 🤲 May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts and grant us the opportunity to honor the legacy of Imam Hussain (AS) together 🌷

متاسفانه باخبر شدیم آقای فرید احمدیار، برادر گرامی جناب آقای سعید احمدیار روز گذشته به رحمت ایزدی پیوستند. این ضایعه‌ی دردناک را خدمت خانواده‌ی محترمشان تسلیت عرض نموده و از خداوند منان برای آن مرحوم آمرزش و برای بازماندگان طلب صبر می‌کنیم. خواهشمندیم برای شادی روح ایشان و همه‌ی درگذشتگان صلوات و فاتحه‌ای ختم بفرمایید‌‌. با احترام، مرکز اسلامی امام حسین (ع)

بار خدایا! سه چیز باعث می‌شود که من از تو درخواست نکنم و تنها یک چیز مرا بر آن می‌دارد. آنچه مرا باز می‌دارد، یکی آن است که تو مرا فرمان دادی و من در انجام آن سستی کردم، دیگر آنکه مرا از کاری نهی فرمودی، امّا من به انجام‌دادن آن شتافتم، سوم آنکه مرا نعمت ارزانی داشتی، ولی من در شکرگزاری آن، کوتاهی کردم. امّا آنچه مرا به درخواست‌کردن از تو می‌کشانَد، تفضّل تو بر کسی است که به درگاهت روی کند و با خوش‌گمانی به سوی تو آید، که همه احسان‌هایت، تفضّل است و همه نعمت‌هایت، نخستین است. فرازی از دعای دوازدهم صحیفه سجّادیّه
