No, this number is absolutely false, and no Ukrainian has died for nothing. Every single one died for freedom, honor, their country, their families, European and world security, and democratic values. It's hundreds of thousands of Russians who literally died for nothing, especially when the surviving ones will have to leave further occupied territories. 04 The Netherlands, in collaboration with other countries, is working to assemble and deliver a Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine. The Dutch Ministry of Defense announced it will contribute key components from its own stockpiles and is encouraging other European countries to supply additional parts.
"We are negotiating with countries on the assembly of the Patriot system, as well as on the training of Ukrainian crews. 05 🇺🇦🇧🇪 Ukraine and Belgium signed a security agreement.
According to President Zelenskyy, the document includes at least 977 million euros in military aid to Ukraine from Belgium this year and commits Brussels to supporting Kyiv for the ten-year term of the agreement.
"For the first time, such an agreement specifies the exact number of F-16 fighters—30—that will be delivered to Ukraine by 2028, with the first ones arriving this year," he added.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a whirlwind tour of the European Union looking for military aid. He's currently in Belgium where the government has committed to equipping Ukraine with 30 F16 fighter jets. The first deliveries are planned for later this year. The announcement comes as EU defence ministers meet in Brussels to discuss further military aid for Kyiv. In Ukraine, soldiers are trying to hold back or at least slow a Russian incursion near Kharkiv. DW’s Max Zander went to the frontlines to see how they’re doing it.
