What's your guilty displeasure? Mine is the amount of config files in Web and Mobile dev. All those files just to primarily work on 3/4 of them is a bit odd for me.

My highest Snapchat streak surpassed 1000. Despite being a Boomer, I have been exchanging snaps with friends and strangers for the last 3 years. I have never done anything for 1000 consecutive days. In fact, I am known for starting to build something and abandoning it the moment I get praised for starting to build it in public. What if I wrote an article each day for 1000 consecutive days? What if I read 10 pages from books that I wish I had read for 1000 consecutive days? What if I created a pull request or two for 1000 consecutive days? 1000 days of showing up. 1000 days of brushing off the boredom. 1000 days of sitting in front of your desk. 1000 days of practicing a skill. The name of the game is staying in the game. I am aware I lack discipline. I am aware that the little I have achieved was the result of loosely integrated fleeting motivation and a dopamine rush that has made me visible for all the chaotic movements I made online. And I wish to flip the script. I build apps for the iPhone @XCYohannes

Monthly Apply = Some chance of success. Don’t Apply = 0% chance of success. I’ve learned this the hard way waiting for the ‘perfect’ opportunity or doubting whether I meet every single requirement. Be reasonable about this so you don't waste your time. But don't skip an oppurtunity because you're missing just a couple things. Applicant requirements are often wish lists, not rules. Don't reject yourself. Shoot your shot.
