| 15 | I just received the written verdict. It's very long so it will take time to analyse everything, but the 12 month prison sentence appears to be a suspended sentence.
The irony is that I have been fighting against mass migration for well over a decade now, and it has gotten me a prison sentence. But this prison sentence is suspended most likely because the prisons in Belgium are literally full of (illegal) migrants.
The regime's strategy is probably also to weaken public outrage by giving me a suspended sentence. Most people don't realise that the end result of such a sentence is the same.
One politically incorrect tweet can now put me in jail. One meme sent by someone else in a groupchat I am in, can turn the suspended sentence into an effective one.
This suspended sentence is the gravest form of censorship they could pursue and an effective way to kill activism.
The consequences of this verdict are insane. They're doing this to me to send YOU a message. It is now possible in Europe to be convicted for memes posted by someone else in a groupchat. People will now not only self-censor en masse, they will also distance themselves from eachother out of fear of being convicted for what OTHERS say or joke about.
Personally, this verdict means I will have an even harder time to do business, get a loan, travel abroad and do basically anything a young father, entrepreneur and activist would have to do.
It's a dark day for freedom of speech and for Europe. It's a very dark day for me, my family and my fellow activists, as seven years of terror will now turn into many more years of terror.
But I will not back down. Never.
Being convicted by a regime that wants to destroy its own people is a medal of honour and I will wear it with pride.

As a teenager I read the book of an innocent man who was wrongly convicted and jailed after being used by corrupt Belgian politicians and businessmen as the scapegoat in a big fraud case. Back then I thought that must be the most frustrating thing in the world.
Today I'm living through the same —but worse, as my case is being played out in the regime media all day every day, used to scare everyone into submission. That is a fate I'm not willing to accept.

| 19 |  UPDATE: nu vrijdag om 09:00 zou er dan toch uitspraak zijn in de Schild & Vrienden-zaak voor het Hof van Beroep.
Zeven jaar na de start van het ‘onderzoek’ is het eindelijk zover. De datum werd reeds tweemaal uitgesteld maar zou deze keer definitief zijn.
Er staat heel veel op het spel. Bij een veroordeling kan deze zaak als precedent worden gebruikt om iedere vrijdenker op te sluiten — want iedereen zit wel érgens in een Facebookgroep of chatgroep waar al eens een politiek incorrect grapje werd gemaakt.
Bij een vrijspraak krijgt de Vlaamse en Europese identitaire beweging opnieuw zuurstof. Onze boksclubs van Weerbaar vzw, ons mediakanaal en Schild & Vrienden kunnen dan met hernieuwde energie de strijd verderzetten.
We hebben ijzersterke juridische argumenten en iedereen heeft kunnen vaststellen dat er geen bewijs tegen mij is, maar helaas is de Belgische justitie niet te betrouwen. Een onheilspellend teken aan de wand is het feit dat de rechters van het Hof van Beroep niet eens wilden luisteren naar mijn verhaal, nadat ze eerst drie dagen lang de Procureur Generaal en de Burgerlijke Partijen de meest waanzinnige leugens over mij lieten spuien.

| 20 |  De meeste van de 850 groepsleden van Schild & Vrienden hadden opvattingen die gelijkaardig waren aan de rest van de Vlaamse jeugd. Voor de kleine groep met 'radicalere' gedachten, werkte S&V 'deradicaliserend'.
Negatieve energie die voortkwam uit terechte frustraties over het verval van ons volk, werd bij S&V gekanaliseerd naar positieve acties die ons volk en samenlevingsmodel weer heropbouwden, zoals ouderenzorg, zwerfvuil rapen, sportactiviteiten en vreedzaam protest. Actie is het beste tegengif voor wanhoop. Bij ons kregen jongeren weer hoop.
Iedere organisatie die dit doet met niet-blanke jongeren, krijgt miljoenen subsidies voor zo'n mooi engagement. Maar omdat wij voornamelijk bestonden uit blanke jongeren (de enige groep die geen aanspraak mag maken op het nochtans grondwettelijk gewaarborgd recht van vereniging), kregen we 20 huiszoekingen, 50 verhoren en effectieve gevangenisstraffen in de plaats.
Dit schandalige onrecht maakte een deel van ons mooie werk kapot. Maar wij geven niet op. Wij blijven vechten voor onze idealen en vrijdag is een belangrijke veldslag.
