NUS Sociology & Anthropology society is bringing you a film screening 💯💯 Happening on the 14th of March, we will be screening the movie Heartbound (2018), which follows the unique community of Thai-Danish couples in Jutland, Denmark. Filmed over ten years, the film is an intimate chronicle that explores universal questions of love and romance, dreams and everyday hardship, life and death, and the very nature of family 💚 The screening will be hosted by Assistant Professor Sahana Ghosh, and will be held at AS1-0205. Hi all! Hope everyone had a good week! The society is having our 2nd Ethnography Writing Workshop hosted by Prof Tom Ozden-Schilling with a guest appearance by Prof Lau Ting Hui. The workshop aims to help students easy into fieldwork and ethnographic writing by exploring different works and a sharing by the Profs about their own experiences in the field.
