تحقيق جديد نشرته قناة Gamers Nexus بالتعاون مع فريق Level1Techs وباحثين أمنيين كشف عن ممارسات خطيرة بتمس الخصوصية في شاشات LG الذكية (تحديدا موديلات OLED زي G5 ونظام webOS):
1. مسح شامل لشبكة البيت:
الشاشة بتعمل مسح مستمر لشبكة الـ Wi-Fi الداخلية وتحدد الأجهزة المتصلة بيها مثل الموبايلات والساعات الذكية، وبيتم جمع أسماء شبكات الواي فاي المجاورة وقوة الإشارة وبيانات الموقع الجغرافي.
2. تسجيل الصوت والشاشة مطفية!
الاختبارات الأمنية أثبتت إن الشاشة بتقدر تسجل الصوت بوضوح عبر المايك (الشاشة مزودة بمايك) وهي في وضع الاستعداد (Standby) وكمان والشاشة مطفية.. مش بس كدة، حتى لو لو فصلت النت، الشاشة بتخزن التسجيلات الصوتية عندها وترفعها لسيرفراتها أول ما ترجع تتوصل بالإنترنت!!
3. استهداف إعلاني مكثف:
بيانات المسح والتسجيل بتروح لقطاع الإعلانات (LG Ad Solutions)، لاستغلالها في استهداف بقية أجهزتك المتصلة بنفس الشبكة بالإعلانات الموجهة.
4. ثغرات اختراق أمنية:
الفريق رصد ثغرات خطيرة (Remote Code Execution) في نظام webOS تسمح بتشغيل أوامر واختراق الشاشة عن بُعد!
