CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis Tweets: Towards Faster and Citizen-Centric Governance Chaired a review meeting regarding the phase of Governance Process Re-engineering. Governance Process Re-engineering (GPR) is being implemented across Maharashtra to make government services simpler, faster and more citizen-centric. To accelerate this transformation, directed all departments to review their existing services and bring them within the GPR framework. Instructed to accelerate the service restructuring process under ‘Aaple Sarkar 2.0’. Government of Maharashtra is committed to completing this process by August 14, enabling citizens to experience the new and improved governance framework from August 15, 2026 onwards. Emphasised the need to effectively communicate the Government’s initiatives and development work to citizens through hyperlocal digital platforms. Directed every department to formulate a structured strategy for the planned and impactful use of such platforms.
