Early bearish move on USD was because market was expecting that CPI will fall hence USD was falling on optimism but after CPI numbers market realised that 3.1% which is even in line with the forecast is still sticky inflation and USD started to rebound and affirm the FED higher for longer rates narrative. After these CPI numbers we will hear the same narrative from POWEEL tomorrow higher for longer which is good for USD.
