Problem : No power on
Firstly I disassembled the board and do physical check found corrosion, dust, I removed all corrosion and rust from the board. Now I put dc jack ampere is 0.010 but the board is not triggering and after some time ampere drops to 0.005,but S.B voltages generating on 0.010ampere and droping at 0.005ampere .. Now I think of Bios, I did so many bioses for EC and PCH, But no results....
Now I think of checking IO requirements, while checking IO requirements I found that SUS ON is not present on IO, so i back traced for slp_s4, slp_s5 found that all were absent, but s.b voltages are coming and going back, I changed the Filtering capacitors also..
Now finnaly i got a clue from S.B ic that always power good going to IO from S.B ic is missing on IO.. So i came to S.B IC found that one pull up voltage is present on resistor to give always power good to IO, that resistor was faulty, I replaced with new one case solved....
