They call me back, Senthil sir ask about my written exam result, which I cleared in march, he ask how many attempts, I told 5, explaind after 4 year I m appearing, he-why so long , started to explain but he stopped in between and said, ok man we r passing you, just log off man....
It was my overall 6th attempt, 3rd oral and 1st attempt of oral after joining HATC.. after 4 years of gap I joined HATC . It took overall 5 attempt to clear oral but only in second attempt after joining HATC..
Rajiv sir, your teaching is something unique, as your students are of average age of close to 40. When grasping of new things looks almost next to impossible.. to them you make spoon feeding. Not only make us to understand but you Chang the way we use to think.
As Padamnabhan once said, our life split completely in two parts one before HATC and other after HATC.. thank you is very small word for Thanksgiving..

2. When i told B&W ME engine, he asked whether i was provided with any training prior
joining the vessel with ME engine. I said no. He asked to explain how you will take over a
vessel with a new type of engine that you are not familiar with as a chief engineer.
3. which engine i liked better ME or MC and why?
4. Asked about how to judge a liner whether needs replacement during a routine decarb? Calculation
related to liner wear and decission making as chief engineer?
5. All codes and conventions related to bulk carrier? contents of BLU code?
6. IMSBC code in detail, cargo groups, MV Jupiter incident, what will happen if cargo moisture is more
