Today’s surgery involved simultaneous #tooth extraction, placement of a #zsystems #implant, and grafting with bio-oss, covered by a #PRF membrane on either side. A prior CBCT evaluation revealed enough bone support and depth right between the roots. Pilot drilling was done before extraction of the severed roots for proper orientation. Went beyond the apices and Stopped just short of the IA nerve, using a 5 x 12 “gum level” implant by zsystemsglobal. It ended up mostly submerged but after complete healing it will be slightly below gum level as I always prefer.
