Nirman Ias (Facebook) photo source => क्या है ‘यूथनेशिया’ ? - जब कोई मरीज बहुत ज्यादा पीड़ा से गुजर रहा होता है या उसे ऐसी कोई बीमारी होती है जाे ठीक नहीं हो सकती और जिसमें हर दिन मरीज मौत जैसी स्थिति से गुजरता है तो उन मामलों में कुछ देशों में इच्छा मृत्यु दी जाती है. - बेल्जियम, नीदरलैंड, स्विट्जरलैंड और लक्जमबर्ग में Euthanasia (दया या इच्छामृत्यु) की इजाजत है. अमेरिका के सिर्फ 5 राज्यों में ही इसकी इजाजत है. - भारत में यह मुद्दा विवादास्पद है. धार्मिक वजहों से लोग ये मानते हैं कि किसी को इच्छामृत्यु की इजाजत देना ईश्वर के खिलाफ जाने के समान है. मरीज के परिवार के लोग भी इसे लेकर सहज नहीं रहते. यह उम्मीद भी रहती है कि मरीज किसी दिन अपनी बीमारी से बाहर आ जाएगा. - यूथेनेशिया के दो मुख्य तरीके हैं. पहला ऐक्टिव यूथेनेशिया, इसमें गंभीर बीमारी से जूझ रहे मरीज को घातक पदार्थ देना शुरू किया जाता है, जिससे वह जल्द ही मर जाता है. पैसिव यूथेनेशिया वह तरीका है जिसमें मरीज को वे चीजें देना बंद कर दिया जाता है जिसपर वह जिंदा होता है.
