قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ مَا بَالُ أَقوَامٍ يَرفَعُونَ أَبصَارَهُم إلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي صَلاتِهِم ، فاشْتَدَّ قولُهُ في ذلكَ ، حتى قال: لَيَنتَهُنَّ عَن ذَلِكَ أَو لَتُخطَفَنَّ أَبصَارُهُم. ]
رَوَاه البُخَاري.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"What is the matter with people who lift their gaze to the sky when praying?" And he spoke sternly concerning that until he said: "They must stop that or they will certainly lose their eyesight."
Narrated by Bukhari.
| 2 | قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ أَسْوَأُ النَّاسِ سَرِقَةً الَّذِي يَسْرِقُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ ، قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَكَيْفَ يَسْرِقُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ؟ قَالَ : لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا ]
حديث صحيح رواه ابن حبان.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"The one who commits the worst theft is he who steals from his prayer.” When asked how one could steal from his prayer he replied, “By not performing his bowing and his prostration perfectly."

واذا سالك عبادي عني فاني قريب

| 4 | عن ابن عباس رَضِيَ اللهُ عنه قال:
[ كان رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يجلِسُ على الأرضِ، ويأكُلُ على الأرضِ، ويعتقِلُ الشاةَ، ويُجيبُ دعوةَ المملوكِ على خبزِ الشعيرِ . ]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ االطَّبَراني.
يَعتقِلُ الشّاةَ = يُمسِكُ الشّاةَ ليَحلِبَها بنَفْسِه.
Ben Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that,
"the prophet (PBUH), used to sit on the floor, and eat sitting on the floor, and tether the sheep, accept the slave's invitation on a meal of barley bread"

| 9 | (صوم العاشر من محرم)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"وَصِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ"
رَوَاهُ مسلم.
(Fasting the tenth of Muhrram)
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Fasting the Day of Ashura, for indeed I anticipate that Allah will forgive the sins of the year before it."

| 11 | (صوم التاسع من محرم)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"لئن بقِيتُ إلى قابلٍ لأصومَنَّ التاسعَ"
رواه مسلم.
(Fasting the ninth of Muhrram)
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"If I remain alive till the next year ,
I would observe fast on the ninth ( of Muharram )."
Narrated by Muslim. | 130 |
| 12 | عَن عبدالله بن أبي أوفى رضي الله عنه قال:
[ كانَ رسولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ علَيهِ وسلَّمَ ، لا يأنَفُ أن يمشيَ معَ الأرمَلةِ والمسكينِ ، فيَقضيَ لَهُ الحاجةَ.]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاه النَسَائي.
لا يَأنَفُ = لا يَستكبِرُ .
Abdullah Ben Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
"The prophet (PBUH) would not refrain from walking with a widow or poor person and tending to their needs."
Narrated by Nisai.

| 13 | عَن أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه قال:
{ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى جَمَلٍ ، فَأَنَاخَهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، ثُمَّ عَقَلَهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ: أَيُّكُمْ مُحَمَّدٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ مُتَّكِئٌ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْهِمْ ، فَقُلْنَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الأَبْيَضُ الْمُتَّكِئُ.}
رواه البخاري.
Anas Bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said,
"While we were seated with the prophet (PBUH) in the mosque, a man entered riding a camel, then he kneeled it down in the mosque, then he tied it and then said to them: who among you is Muhammad? while the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was leaning on his arm among them."

| 14 | يا نفس ان لم تظفري لا تجزعي
وإلى موايد جود مولاك اهرعي
وإذا تاخر مطلب فلربما
في ذلك التأخير كل المطمع
فاستأنسي بالمنع وارعي حقه
ان الرضى وصف المنيب الالمع
وإذا بدا من ناطق الوجدان ما
يدعوك للياس الذميم الاشنع
فاستيقظي من نومة الغفلات ول
يكن الرجا لك مرتعا فيه ارتعي
ان العطا امداده متنوع
يا حسن هذاك العطا المتنوع
وردوا على نهر الحياة وكلهم
شربوا وكم في الركب من متضلع
حاشا الكريم يردهم عطشا وقد
وردوا واصل الجود من ذا المنبع
يا رب لي ظن جميل وافر
قدمته امشي به يسعى معي
كل الذي يرجون فضلك امطروا
حاشاك ان يبقى هشيما مربعي
ثم الصلاة على الحبيب محمد
سببي القوي إلى المقام الارفع
هو عصمتي هو عروتي فاستمسكي
يا نفس بالمجد العظيم الامنع | 165 |
| 15 | قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
{ لا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ: إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ ثَوْبُهُ حَسَنًا ، وَنَعْلُهُ حَسَنَةً ، قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ ، الْكِبْرُ بَطَرُ الْحَقِّ ، وَغَمْطُ النَّاسِ.}
رواه مسلم.
بَطَرُ الْحَقِّ = رده تجبُّرًا وترفُّعًا.
وَغَمْطُ النَّاسِ = احتقارهم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"He who has as much arrogance in his heart as the weight of an atom, will not enter heaven, A man said: a man likes to have good clothing and good shoes,
He said: Allah is beautiful and He likes beauty, Arrogance is the denial of rights and belittling of people."

| 19 | قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
( مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللهُ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيَدْنُو ، ثُمَّ يُبَاهِي بِهِمُ الْمَلائِكَةَ )
رواه مسلم .
وقال أيضاً:
( خَيْرُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ ، وخَيْرُ مَا قُلْتُ أنَا وَالنَّبيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْـلِي:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الـمُلْكُ ، ولَهُ الـحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِير )
رواه الترمذي
Tha Prophet (PBUH) said:
"There is no day in which Allah sets more servants free from Hell than the Day of 'Arafa. He draws near, then praises them to the angels."
Narrated by Muslim.
And the prophet (PBUH) said:
"The best supplication is the one which is made on the day of Arafa, and the best of what I and the Prophets before me said is: There is no god (worthy of worship) except Allah alone. He has no partner. His is the sovereignty, and to Him belongs (all) praise, and He is Most Capable of everything."
Narrated by Al Tirmithi. | 160 |
| 20 | قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"لاَ يُضَحِّيَنَّ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ."
رواه مسلم.
وقال أيضاً:
"مَنْ باع جلْدَ أُضْحِيَتِهِ، فلَا أضْحِيَةَ لَهُ."
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ رَوَاهُ الحاكم.
Tha Prophet (PBUH) said,
"One shouldn't sacrifice until he has prayed (Eid Al Adha prayer)."
Narrated by Muslim.
And the prophet (PBUH) said:
"Whoever sells the skin of his sacrificed animal, (it will be as if) he has not sacrificed."
Narrated by Al-Hakem. | 112 |
