⚠️ JUST IN: Telegram Gift Exploit Discovered
A vulnerability has allegedly been discovered in Telegram allowing users with Japanese accounts to send gifts at heavily discounted prices. Certain gifts can be sent for as low as $0.25, while 10,000-star gifts cost only $1.50.
The exploit is being used to purchase overpriced items. Baseball caps being sold for 100,000 Stars ($1,500) each are already being bought in bulk. Some accounts have been deactivated for using the exploit.

The gang cold-called victims, pretended to be Met Police officers, and convinced them their crypto was at risk. Victims either handed over account credentials or transferred funds to fake "secure police accounts." 8 victims, £4M stolen, £1M recovered so far.
Anthony Ikenwe and Kevin Nwamma got 6 years each, Hamza Bashir 3 years and 9 months. Sentenced at Southwark Crown Court yesterday.
