Russia provided direct diplomatic assistance to Iran during the conflict with the United States, stated Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev: "It was truly necessary – both political statements and, in some cases, the direct blocking of UN Security Council resolutions that would have legitimized international strikes against Iran.

I saw the Iranian nation as very united and determined in defending its independence.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council

By order of President Putin, I traveled to Tehran to take part in the mourning and tribute ceremony for the martyred leader of Iran, because Mr. Putin held him in very high respect. During this trip, I clearly observed the cohesion and solidarity of the Iranian nation, and the enthusiastic presence of the people at this ceremony left a deep impression on me. In the course of this trip, I saw a united society that has courageously chosen the path of independence and development in defending its country and its rights. A noteworthy point was that, despite the difficult wartime conditions and the continuation of American attacks, the routine of life in the capital was proceeding naturally and normally—something that is meaningful to any observer.

Putin started to believe that he is the one who can make decisions. But America is a hundred times stronger than Russia, and they just need to remember that - Zelensky. Note: trump can't even hit Tehran with a drone
