I don’t believe in the idea of the right person at the wrong time. I believe the right person isn’t just someone you have strong feelings for; they’re someone who is willing and capable of building something with you. Timing can be difficult, circumstances can be complicated, and life can get in the way, but a relationship requires two people making a conscious choice to show up. If someone isn’t ready, isn’t willing, or cannot meet you where you are, then perhaps they’re simply not the right person for you at that point. We sometimes romanticize missed opportunities by blaming timing when the reality might be incompatibility, priorities, or a lack of commitment. The right person shouldn’t just fit your feelings; they should fit the reality of building a life together.

Can someone deserve forgiveness but not reconciliation?
Also is taking time to forgive someone and not doing it fast enough (taking years) a sin? Is there a time frame to it?

So tracing back to the main question killing to protect IDK. But i can’t pick and choose situations to say it’s okay or it is not . So i will say it is not in any circumstances minus war.

I also saw someone say that soldiers are not sinners for going in to war and killing, but that is protecting us not revenge. And that is a very different topic. But it did make me re question what i said earlier. The only reason war is justified is cause it is an ongoing threat. But if it was just a random attack i think war is still a sin( just my opinion) but this raises the question what if the person is still a threat and he might rape more girls and all…then I genuinely don’t know. But for me i wouldn’t want anyone to kill him. I would rather let God take over. Cause killing him will just hurt me even more. Let’s say someone close to me kills this man, they get punished for killing someone then i am still the one hurting.

I was thinking about this for 2 days now😭😭.
(Well felt like 2 days but it was just last night😂😂)
As a Christian, I believe justice belongs to God, even when what someone has done is beyond me and my brain. I would want the person to face the consequences of his actions, but I cannot convince myself that taking his life would undo my sister’s suffering.
The Bible teaches us not to repay evil with evil, but to leave room for God’s justice (Romans 12:19). That doesn’t mean excusing the crime, being passive, or refusing to protect my sister. It means recognizing that I am not God, and revenge is not mine to take.
And if it were me, I wouldn’t want my pain to become the reason someone else loses their life, nor would I want my family to carry the burden of taking another person’s life in my name.
I would want justice, but I would also want healing. As a Christian, I believe that what was done to me should not turn me into someone who acts out of pain and anger. I can demand accountability, protect myself, and seek justice without taking God’s place as the final judge.
