“In my lifetime, I've watched the narrative and the statistics shift when it comes to male and female intelligence.
A few decades ago, the prevailing narrative was that men were academically intelligent whereas women were emotionally intelligent.
"Men are book smart, women are people smart. That's why we get the highest paying jobs! We can do our jobs and not get emotional!"
But now those facts have reversed, and more women have advanced college degrees whereas men are dropping out of colleges and the workforce in record setting numbers.
And just when those statistics shift, the narrative also changes and now, a lot of bitter men want to move the goal post and pretend that academic intelligence is worthless and "logical" intelligence is superior.
This meme in particular is hilarious because who TF is paying their rent from the money they made playing professional Sudoku and solving a Rubiks cube? 🤣”
