Follow those instructions to build and start the proxy. The important part is that your server needs to expose the proxy's required port to the internet. For example, your final endpoint will look conceptually like:

ufw allow 80/tcp ufw allow 443/tcpOnly open the ports actually required by the configuration you're using. Also check your VPS provider's firewall/security-group settings—opening UFW alone isn't always enough. ➥ Test that the proxy is running Check the Docker/container status and logs according to the repository's instructions. You want the proxy service to be running without errors before trying it on your phone. ➥ Add it to WhatsApp On your Android WhatsApp: WhatsApp → Settings → Storage and data → Proxy → Use proxy Enter your proxy address.
