I have the dreaded man flu. More suffering than months in prison. More dangerous to life than mandated vaccines. Yet I will prevail. Pray for me!

🚨BREAKING: The Online Safety Amendment (Strengthening Enforcement for the Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2026 has passed in the Senate with support from Labor, Greens, David Pocock and Jacqui Lambie.
31 YES, 20 NO.
Voted against by Liberals, Nationals, One Nation, Jacinta Price and Fatima Payman.
20 senators paired their votes (absent).
It gives eSafety the power to summon people for private examinations, compel them to answer questions, and imposes up to 12 months’ imprisonment for refusing to comply.
This is NOT the 'Digital Duty of Care' legislation.
Note how PHON and the Greens swap places continously on opposition to laws that increase the power of government ministers or bureaucrats to circumvent due process and increase tyranny. They just take turns in being the designated controlled opposition.
Labor promising what you want whilst hidding their true intent. In 1944 the public saw through it. We are more gullible today

The Greens senator is correct in his assessment of the law, but wrong to fear any minority groups being targeted. This will be used almost exclusively against white nationalists. The uni-party want to punish their political opponents by executive decree. No trial, no judge, no jury, no appeal after conviction. Just proscribe people a hate group, snatch them off the street, claim that you refused to answer questions and throw you in jail for 5 years. So even if they cant prove you are part of a group they arbitrarily made illegal, it wont matter. They can arrest you anyway, dissapear you and if anyone speaks about it they will suffer the same fate. We are getting very close to Soviet levels of secret police and Gulags. The High Court challenge to hate group laws is just one battle front we must fight.

Liberal MP Andrew Hastie, who testified against SAS comrade Ben Roberts-Smith and broke a promise to block hate speech laws, has accused Pauline Hanson of being a "lying coward" after he was called a traitor in a One Nation cartoon.

One Nation cucks again when pressed. Of course he's a traitor. He sold out Australia when he trashed the Constitution and rule of law with his support of the hate group laws. His military service has nothing to do with that and cant make up for it.
Auspill gives his day 2 analysis of the High Court challenge

The High court has, under Chief Justice Gageler shown its commitments to the preservation of the rule of law and the Commonwealth constitution; even where the outcome is unpopular (refer to the Immigration detention issue last year). There is no doubt for us that the Commonwealth’s rushed and frankly insulting legislation will be struck down.

A solid breakdown of the arguments so far and opinion that the case for White Australia is strong.

The Commonwealth is arguing that banning organisations under the hate-group laws doesn't just comply with the implied freedom of political communication.
It says the laws can actually “positively advance” political freedom by protecting people from extremist groups that threaten their ability to participate in public life.
