I’m Glad My Mom Died
By : Jennette McCurdy
Pages : 340
Genre: Memoir- Nonfiction
Trigger Warning: Eating Disorders- Sexual Assault- Grief- Child Abuse - Drugs Addiction
My Thoughts:
The book is diary of jennette the famous child actor in Nickelodeon
She talks about her relationship with her mother ,food and her job as an actress .
If I wanna be honest with you I wasn’t expecting so much from this book but it totally surprised me .
Jennette talked about eating disorders in a very human way ,her way of converting her feelings was so honest .
Her relationship with her mom who was her reason to have ED at first place and how Jennette couldn’t even know she was narcissistic and toxic to her until the very end of the book was very emotional to read.
She also talked about her relationship with men and how Nickelodeon directors used to sexually assault the children actors in the set .
I will definitely reread it .

Oh my lord! what a story.
It’s so fascinating it really got me invested the whole time and I was so engaged that I finished it in two days, if I hadn’t been so busy, I would’ve finished it in one sitting.
I loved and enjoyed this read so much and I honestly have nothing to complain about (surprisingly) except I just wish June would stop playing this whole game and finally just give up at the end. But that’s just me and how i wished the book ended.
