— New York Times, citing two people briefed on the incident, reports that a U.S. Army AH-64 "Apache" attack helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, June 1. Both pilots were rescued. It is unclear how the helicopter crashed.
Apaches are part of CENTCOM's package used as part of their attempts to reverse Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz, and have flown numerous sorties in the waterway.

Breaking — CENTCOM never acknowledged the loss of this helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz earlier today.
President Trump's spokesman & CENTCOM both didn't respond to NYT's request for comment.
This is the first time an AH-64 "Apache" helicopter has been lost as part of the Iran War, regardless of how it crashed.
