Checkout my recent project, which gives u the performance of CachyOS settings to NixOS. Combine it with cachyos kernels and nice rules given by Chaotic-nyx your system will be responsive and performant like CachyOS without switching to a separate #OS and try all of it in ur NixOS with just few lines😁
