سَـجِينُ النَّفْسِ فِي بَحْرِ الظُّنُونِ
تُقَاذِفُـهُ الشُّكُوكُ إِلَى الـجُنُونِ بَنَيْتُ مِنَ التَّفَكُّرِ أَلْفَ سِجْنٍ وَأَغْلَقْتُ الشَّبَابِيكَ الشَّجُونِ يَمُرُّ اللَّيْلُ كَالدَّهْرِ الطَّوِيلِ وَعَقْلِي لَا يَكُفُّ عَنِ الأَنِينِ تَزَاحَمَتِ الخَوَاطِرُ فِي حَنَايَا فُؤَادِي، مِثْلَ أَمْوَاجِ السَّفِينِ أُرِيدُ النَّوْمَ كِيْ أَنْسَى هُمُومِي فَيَصْحُو الفِكْرُ: مَنْ لِي أَنْ يَقِينِي؟ أَرَى جَسَدِي يَسِيرُ بِغَيْرِ رُوحٍ وَأَحْلَامِي تَلاَشَتْ فِي سُكُونِي جِرَاحُ النَّفْسِ لَا تَبْدُو لِعَيْنٍ وَنَزْفُ العَقْلِ أَقْسَى مَا يَكُونِ
