 🫀 HOW TO LAUNCH A TOKEN ON GURUFUN — THE GUIDE
From an empty Passport to a token on the bonding curve, with a screenshot of every screen. Here it is.
The path in six steps
1️⃣ Passport, wallet, KYC. Sign in with your Vistory Passport and connect a Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare). One Passport can hold several wallets; each wallet belongs to one Passport. Complete verification (Sumsub) — it's required before financial actions and gives you the badge voters see.
2️⃣ Create your project. Name, ticker (3–6 characters), logo, description — fixed for good once published. Social links are optional, but voters read them.
3️⃣ Prelisting. Your project goes public with a BGB threshold and a timer. Your community backs it with BGB (from 1 BGB). Reach the threshold in time — you move on. Miss it — that launch doesn't proceed.
4️⃣ Creator commitment. Connect an EVM wallet and lock or burn CES on Polygon. Lock comes back after the period; burn is forever. One commitment per project.
5️⃣ Deploy. Sign the Solana transaction: 1 billion tokens — 800M on the bonding curve, 200M reserved for liquidity. Optional first buy in SOL: public, capped, executed before anyone else can trade. If the transaction fails, just retry — no second Prelisting, no second commitment.
6️⃣ Bonding → Raydium. Buys and sells move the curve (x · y = k). At ~85 SOL in real reserves the token migrates to a Raydium pool, and the core liquidity is locked for good. From there: Jupiter, aggregators — and the Guru Token elections.
This week is different
Close Beta creators - the whitelist - deploy directly and nominate for the first Guru Token: no Prelisting, no commitment step, one token each, 48 hours. From Monday, Sept 28, everyone can create; new tokens start trading with the full launch.
Before you start: a Solana wallet (guide) with SOL for the deployment fee, an EVM wallet with CES for the commitment, a square logo, a one-paragraph description.
