🚨 TCS Q1 FY27 Profit Rises 5%; Declares ₹12/Share Dividend • Revenue rose to ₹72,275 Cr (+13.9% YoY, +2.2% QoQ); constant currency growth came in at +0.4% QoQ. • PAT stood at ₹13,420 Cr (+4.7% YoY, -2.6% QoQ); PAT excluding exceptional items was ₹13,849 Cr (+8.5% YoY). The quarter included an exceptional loss of ₹668 Cr. • Operating margin was 24.0%; EBITDA came at ₹18,556 Cr (+10.0% YoY) with EBITDA margin at 25.67%. • Total Contract Value (TCV) reached US$9.5 billion, including an US$800 million AI-led mega deal with SKF; annualized AI revenue increased to US$2.6 billion (+13.6% QoQ). • Workforce stood at 593,798, while LTM IT services attrition was 13.6%. ✔️Learning Of The Day- India VIX को अक्सर Fear Index कहा जाता है, लेकिन असल में यह डर नहीं, बल्कि आने वाले समय में Market की Volatility का अनुमान बताता है। अगर अभी India VIX 11.70 पर है और कुछ समय पहले 9.74 तक गया था, तो इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि Market ऊपर जाएगा या नीचे। इसका मतलब सिर्फ इतना है कि अभी Market को आने वाले दिनों में ज़्यादा Volatility की उम्मीद नहीं है। इसे महाभारत से समझिए। कुरुक्षेत्र में युद्ध शुरू होने से पहले चारों ओर गहरी शांति थी। बाहर से सब सामान्य दिख रहा था, लेकिन श्रीकृष्ण जानते थे कि यह शांति हमेशा नहीं रहेगी। एक बार शंख बजा और पूरा दृश्य बदल गया। India VIX भी कुछ ऐसा ही है। जब VIX बहुत Low होता है, तब ज़्यादातर लोगों को लगता है कि अब सब कुछ सामान्य रहेगा। लेकिन कई बार सबसे बड़ा Move ऐसी ही शांति के बाद आता है। Option Market में VIX का सीधा असर Premium पर पड़ता है। Low VIX में Premium सस्ते होते हैं, इसलिए Option Buyer कम कीमत पर Call या Put खरीद सकता है। लेकिन अगर Market में अपेक्षित Volatility नहीं आई, तो Theta (Time Decay) धीरे-धीरे Premium को कम करता रहता है। वहीं Option Seller के लिए Low VIX हमेशा अच्छी बात नहीं होती। क्योंकि Premium पहले से ही कम मिलता है। अगर अचानक Volatility बढ़ गई, तो छोटा-सा Premium बड़े Risk के सामने बहुत कम साबित हो सकता है। याद रखिए, India VIX Direction नहीं बताता, केवल Volatility की उम्मीद बताता है। इसलिए अनुभवी Trader Price Chart के साथ VIX को भी देखते हैं, क्योंकि कई बार सबसे बड़ी हलचल उसी समय शुरू होती है, जब पूरा Market सबसे ज़्यादा निश्चिंत होता है।
