Here’s another thing that i despise about the character “It was his mistake but he didn’t mean harm to anyone because he thought it was normal” Look i empathize with mental illness hell i have three of them, but what a person does while being affected by them DOES NOT mean they can’t be held accountable for their actions He didn’t try to get help, he didn’t try to really reflect on himself, ignorance is not other peoples problem

- الرساله ؛ Life is bleak, it hits you again and again, i think the movie should have been even darker ,he was one step away from destroying everything, and the cinema seen with Betsy was the last hit, its was his mistake but he didn't mean harm to anyone because he thought it was normal, from his perspective that life didn't give him anything, and when it did and he started to things better ,life took it again, and we know what happened after

I get why people like it From my point of view and my life experiences i don’t see it

I know i am those people thats why im saying this, otherwise i would say i appreciate the idea and that i dont relate to it and move on But thats the issue, i get it and i lived through those emotions My problem is that it appeals almost exclusively to the male vision of what those feelings are Its bleak and the way it pushes on those buttons constantly makes me appreciate it less The reality of it is that those feelings are not constant, its not a one dimensional experience

- الرساله ؛ I get your point but there are people who really suffer from these feelings, but don't or can't express it, that's why the movie in some shots directly says it! And how the loneliness or the feeling that the person himself is not enough can alter the way he thinks and affects him/her and no one understands them, even the person himself sometimes

No i get that i didnt watch it while scrolling tt i was legit invested I just thought the movie was trying to force emotion out of me which i didnt really like It felt like the movie is just a beautifully shot “hey look you’re lonely and hopeless” and the way those moments drag on makes it feel forced

I never understood the hype about taxi driver i watched it twice and i think its one of the worst most forced movies of all time

I think i should watch taxi driver again to fuck up the next weeks mood

One thing i like about the pharmacy i work at is that there is always something to do even when there are no patients For me i need to absolutely destroy myself physically and mentally at work to feel some fulfillment so it works for me
