As our opening event for this year, the men of Buckeye State Active Club hiked in Hocking Hills State Park, and were able to see several points of interest, including the Devil’s Bathtub and Old Man’s Cave. As we grow in our level of fitness, these hikes and activities will become more and more intense, and mold you into someone who is ready for anything. Members of Buckeye State Active Club recently participated in a camping weekend and outdoorsman workshop in Northern Kentucky along with members of Patriot Front. The event was hosted by Network XIII, and is a perfect example of the unity of vision and brotherhood that the various Active Clubs and associated organizations espouse. We are a nationwide movement, and every day American men of all ages are bettering themselves through events like this, combining useful skills with the strengthening of the bonds of our people. Members of Buckeye State Active Club hosted a sparring event with Pennsylvania Active Club and members of Patriot Front this month, and were joined impromptu by members of the local community. This form of outreach for young men is the first stage of what this active club exists for, and ultimately to bring about a sense of community and brotherhood for its members and their families. The purposes of fitness are more than just strength of body; they sharpen the mind and grow our virtue through the conquering of oneself.
