OUTLIER AI A Simple Guide for Getting Started WHAT IS OUTLIER?   Outlier is a website where normal people get paid to help teach Artificial Intelligence (AI).   Think of it like this: AI is like a student that needs to learn. Outlier pays real people to check the AI's work and help it get smarter.   Outlier is owned by a company called Scale AI. They have over 700,000 people around the world working on it, from regular people to university graduates.   The work is 100% online. You can work from home, whenever you want, for as many hours as you choose.   WHAT DO PEOPLE DO ON OUTLIER?   The work is called RLHF, which stands for Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback. Do not worry about the name. Here is what the work actually looks like:   • WRITING QUESTIONS - You write a question or prompt to test if the AI can answer it correctly.   • RANKING ANSWERS - The AI gives two answers. You pick which one is better.   • FACT-CHECKING - You check if what the AI said is true or false.   • REVIEWING WRITING - You read content written by AI and say if it is good or needs fixing.       HOW MUCH DOES IT PAY?   Pay & Payment Details:   Pay is based on the hourly wage of the country (e.g., the UK is 18.7/HR, the US is 15/HR)   Payment is made every week (Tuesdays, midnight Pacific time)   The payment will be sent to the creator’s PayPal or AirTM (AirTM is much better).     WHAT IS NEEDED? There is no rush. ⭐️   STEP 1: Go to the website Open your internet browser (Chrome or Brave browser [better]).   Type this web address: www.outlier.ai   You will see a page that says: "Become the expert that AI learns from."     STEP 2: Click 'View Opportunities' Click the big orange button that says "View Opportunities".   This will take you to a page showing all available jobs.     STEP 3: Choose the right job type You will see 4 tabs at the top: Specialists | Languages | Coders | Generalist   Click on "Generalist".   Then click on "English Writing and Content Reviewing Expertise Sought For Ai Training" ( it is the first option)   STEP 4: Click 'Apply Now' You will see a page with the job details and pay information.   Click the button that says "APPLY NOW". STEP 5: Create your account Enter your email address.   They will send a link to your email to create a password.   Create a password. It must have at least 8 characters, 1 uppercase letter, and 1 special symbol (like ! or @).   Click "Sign Up".           🔥 MAKE SURE YOU SEE JUST THESE 3 STAGES BELOW 🔥       🔥 IF YOU SEE 4 STEPS LIKE THIS, STOP INSTANTLY!!!. START THE PROCESS AGAIN AND USE ANOTHER EMAIL 🔥         IF IT’S ONLY 3 STAGES, THEN CONTINUE WITH THE GUIDE…   STEP 6:  Create profile Enter your phone number.   They'll send a code to you.   This is just for identification; it is safe.         STEP 7: Verify Identity Upload a photo of your ID. A passport or a driver's License is best.   There will also be a quick face scan (like taking a selfie).   Make sure the room is well-lit.

Stand near a window or lamp.   Do not wear sunglasses or a hat.   STEP 8: Verify skills You will be asked to connect your LinkedIn profile and upload your CV/resume.   STEP 9: Take the Communication Skills test   This is a MUST DO to get the AETHER PROJECT.   It is a short test to check your English and thinking skills.   You will be asked some questions; just answer them honestly.   Also, you will have to do a live video test.   ❌ Do NOT copy and paste from the internet.   Keep your answers short, clear, and typed neatly   Just be yourself.         IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER   DO: DO use your real name and real ID. They verify everything. DO make sure your ID is valid and not expired. DO sit in good lighting when doing the face scan. DO answer test questions in your own words, no copying. DO NOT rush through the steps; take your time.   DO NOT: DO NOT select coding skills unless you actually know how to code. DO NOT copy and paste answers during the skills test. DO NOT do the face scan in a dark room. DO NOT close the page in the middle of signing up; finish each step before stopping.   QUICK SUMMARY   Here is everything in a few simple lines:   1. Go to www.outlier.ai and click "View Opportunities." 2. Click Generalist, then “English Writing and Content Reviewing..” then Apply Now 3. Create an account with your email address 4. Fill in your profile and upload your resume/LinkedIn 5. Verify your ID with a passport or driver's license + face scan 6.
