Hey teachers, I’m sharing the outcome of my project called “Mic Drop” with my students from 5 Al-Biruni. We compiled answers for all the SPM Trial Speaking Test questions, and while the responses may vary based on my students’ proficiency levels, I did my best to verify and refine them all. Hopefully, this sharing can help your students in preparing for the upcoming SPM Speaking Test. With just 7 days left, it’s still not too late for our students to start! Yesterday, I had the privilege of being observed by two Leadership Development Officers from Teach For Malaysia. I introduced them to my students as Teacher Atikah and Teacher Yen Ping, and the kids were instantly excited to see new faces in the class! They requested a session with my beginner to intermediate class, and I was up for the challenge! It turned out to be one of the most satisfying lesson observations I’ve had. We also had an engaging discussion on “Spending vs Saving: Making Smart Money Choices,” and tried out some 21st-century learning (CL) activities too. My 5 Al-Ghazali kids were absolutely thrilled: many said it was their first time being observed! Having three teachers in one room, all with the same purpose to unleash their true potential, made the moment even more meaningful.
