Hi y'all, little updates for you :3 Commission season is on its way (I'm aiming for an opening on Friday February 27th) That brings with it some changes to my ToS and answers to questions worth pointing out! Price bump on the shaded piece : from base $50 to $60. Switching to Wise for payments : I think no one is unaware of the fact Paypal takes a ton of fees in every step of the process on there, and their exchange rate is rly uncompetitive, specially for someone who's main pool of customers use a different currency than my local one. As I've had a few commissioners ask me about it and seen fellow artist friends switch over to Wise, I decided to give it a try and am pretty convinced this is the platform I want to use moving forward until further notice. I will still offer the ability to use Paypal for the next few commission opening, however please note that I allow myself to ask up to an extra 10% to accomodate for the paypal fees for the next commission opening an onward. The introduction of a new contender : upgrades! In the forms, when the option is available, you may ask for an upgrade on a piece you have previously gotten through an earlier commission / raffle / gift. As this is something entirely new, I figured I'd slide in the conditions applied for upgrading : • The art piece you want to upgrade has to be a flat sketch. Upgrades from shaded to rendered is currently unavailable, but might be in the future; • The tier you want to upgrade to has to be rendered. Upgrades to shaded pieces is currently unavailable, but might be in the future; • The price will be the difference between the rendered pricing of what you want and the current flat pricing. For example, a sketch you have paid at a final price of $45 a few months ago would now have been worth $60. Its worth as a rendered piece is now $130. You’ll have to pay $130 - $60 = $70 (and not $85) for the upgrade (note : numbers are purely given for example); • Turning in an art piece for upgrade doesn’t guarantee selection; • Since my art style is still evolving rapidly, older sketches might require a bit of tweaking before I can upgrade it accordingly, or might not be eligible for an upgrade. I hold the right to charge you for the required modifications upon my discretion; Other small updates have been made to the ToS, including selection criteria and process updates.
